original graffiti was, er, somewhat more comprehensible: Octopus, troimasik. presumable a local little mag,who knows?

NO, a quarter essentially implies, i believe, FOUR equal parts. a troi... implies THREE :P

Rimi, Arthur's right I think. Troimasik will mean that which is repeated after three months. Hence, you'll have four of those in a year, ergo troimasik equals quarterly.
